A proud daughter of immigrants, Soenda has always seen education as a path to greater opportunity and liberation. She strives to spend her time in roles where she can lead with radical empathy and create supportive spaces where people of color thrive. Throughout her time at CSGF, Soenda has led the early-stage strategy that funds the growth of charter school networks led by entrepreneurs of color. Currently, Soenda leads all of our investments in and support to early-stage charter school networks across the country through our Seed strategy. Prior to joining CSGF, Soenda provided strategic support for replicating schools in the KIPP network and led three of KIPP’s leadership programs for school founders. Soenda began her career as a Teach For America corps member and later transitioned to be a teacher and a principal. Soenda has a BA from Swarthmore College, an MA from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an MBA from Kellogg, Northwestern University.
