Jefferson is an Investment Manager at CSGF, where he partners with high-performing public charter schools across the East Coast and Midwest to help them grow their impact and reach more students. He believes education is a powerful engine of social mobility and is driven by the potential of great schools to change the trajectory of students’ lives. Prior to CSGF, Jefferson taught Algebra I & II at Blackstone Valley Prep High School in Cumberland, Rhode Island as a Teach for America corps member. Before entering the classroom, he served as Chief of Staff and Head of Operations at various technology startups. Jefferson holds a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE) from Claremont McKenna College and an MA in education. He is an alum of Education Pioneers.
