Fidel Vargas has been the president and CEO of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) since 2013. Prior to HSF, he was a founding partner at Centinela Capital Partners, an alternative asset management firm. At age 23, Fidel was the country’s youngest elected mayor of a major city – Baldwin Park, CA. He currently serves on the boards of the California Community Foundation, the Latino Donor Collaborative, and The Los Angeles Theatre Center. Fidel graduated from Harvard University with an AB in social studies and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
