Charter School Growth Fund (“CSGF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to maintaining your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, and protect, and when we disclose Personal Data, including when we receive student data from schools we support (“Network Schools”), when you use our website charterschoolgrowthfund.org (the “Website”), or when you otherwise communicate with us.

Types of Personal Data Collected Through Technology. We use technology to automatically collect certain Personal Data when you visit our Website. Network Schools. Network Schools share Student Data about their students with us as part of our partnership with them. Network Schools share Student Data with us:

We collect, create, use, and disclose aggregated, anonymized, or deidentified data, including when we use Student Data (“Aggregated Data”). For instance, we use Student Data to create Aggregated Data, which describes a group of students at the school level or organizational but does not reveal the identity of individual students. We use Aggregated Data to inform our funding decisions and other strategic work in support of our mission. We report Aggregated Data to our funders. In some cases, we share Aggregated Data with our Network Schools, which helps Network Schools develop growth plans and meet their goals. We will not re-identify or attempt to re-identify Aggregated Data.
We take data protection seriously. We use reasonable physical, technical and administrative security measures designed to protect Personal Data from the risk of unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.
The Website is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13 from this Website. If a parent or guardian learns that their child provided us with Personal Data without consent, please contact us at [email protected] and we will make commercially reasonable attempts to delete such Personal Data.
If you have a question or concern regarding your child’s Student Data that your child’s school may have shared with us, please contact your child’s school.
The Website is only intended for users in the United States. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you understand that the collection and processing of your Personal Data in the United States, regardless that certain governmental authorities may not consider the level of protection of Personal Data in the United States to be equivalent to that required by the European Union or other jurisdictions.
For your convenience, the Website may link to, or be linked to, websites not maintained or controlled by CSGF. CSGF is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third parties or any third-party websites. If you choose to access third-party websites, you do so at your own risk, and you should read the terms and conditions and privacy policies for each website that you visit.
CSGF participates in social media platforms such as X and Medium (“Social Media”).
By choosing to use any third-party Social Media platform or choosing to share content or communications with any Social Media platform, you share information with the designated Social Media platform. We cannot control any policies or terms of any third-party platforms. Your use of Social Media is governed by the privacy policies and terms of the third parties that own and operate those websites and not governed by this Policy. We encourage you to review those policies and terms. We are not responsible for any use of your Personal Data or content by a third-party platform.
We use Cookies when you visit our Website. We may use first-party and third-party Cookies. A first-party Cookie allows your web browser to talk to the actual website that you are visiting. A third-party Cookie allows your web browser to talk to a third-party provider providing services or features on the website you are visiting.
