Aden supports CSGF’s investment process in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, & Midwest regions in addition to Puerto Rico. Before joining us, he was an associate at Empower Schools, where he worked with state education agencies, operators, districts, nonprofits, and funders to design and implement strategic and capacity-building initiatives at the campus, district, and state levels. Aden also taught 4th grade English Language Arts at IDEA Public Schools in Texas. He began his career in advocacy, working on policy topics including student debt reform, youth civic engagement, and higher education access. Aden earned a BA from Texas A&M University and serves on the board of the SAFE Alliance.
