Alma is a vice president on the Seed Team where she invests in and supports single-site and early-stage entrepreneurs. She previously developed solutions, insights, and connections in talent, leadership, and DEI on the Impact Team. Prior to CSGF, Alma was the chief operations officer (COO) at Voices College-Bound Language Academies, where she established and scaled systems in talent, operations, and technology as the network grew from one to four schools. Before that, she was the COO at Alpha Public Schools, where she first started as an Education Pioneers fellow. She spent her early career analyzing complex strategic challenges and advising senior federal and defense decision makers on strategic policy issues as a management consultant with PA Consulting Group. Alma holds a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT and an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and is an alumna of the Broad Residency for Urban Education.
