Annie Proietti
The Walton Family Foundation

Annie is an education advocate and chairs the board of directors of the Walton Family Foundation. She spent four years at a KIPP Denver Collegiate High School as the director of Student Services. Prior to that, she managed a tutoring center and was a member of the Walton Family Foundation K-12 education team.

Annie’s experience with students sparked her desire to create opportunities that help young people break down personal and structural barriers to achieve a sense of belonging and economic mobility. Additional areas of focus include immigration advocacy, education to career pathways, and initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles.

Annie holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in education policy from the Stanford University Graduate School of Education. She is on the Board of Trustees at Wake Forest University.
