Dan is building out CSGF’s scaled support strategies for finance, governance, and mergers/restarts. Before joining CSGF, Dan was the director of strategy at KIPP SoCal Public Schools where he led the merger of KIPP LA & KIPP SD and coordinated the organization’s COVID-19 return to campus planning. Dan helped launch Valor Collegiate Academies’ first two campuses as the founding director of operations and served on the founding team of the Tennessee Achievement School District. He has experience as a management consultant at both Bain & Company and Education First. Dan earned a BBA from the University of Southern California and a Master’s in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is also a graduate of The Broad Residency in Urban Education.
