Jamey leads the talent & equity practice on the Impact Team. In this role, he partners with talent leaders and equity leaders across the CSGF portfolio to identify common challenges, highlight promising practices, and explore solutions that may be transferable across organizations.
Jamey began his career in educational talent with TNTP, leading engagements and programs in partnership with urban school districts to solve their most critical human capital challenges, including teacher recruitment and development programs and effective school staffing initiatives. He moved into charters at the National Association of Charter School Authorizers, building out their Leaders Program and Fellows Program to grow and develop authorizing leaders across the nation. Most recently, Jamey served as the chief human assets officer at IDEA Public Schools for five years, leading their strategy to recruit, develop, and retain great teachers, leaders, and other staff members. During his tenure, the organization grew from 36 to 96 schools across six regions, serving nearly 53,000 students in Texas and Louisiana. Jamey holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BS in theatre from Northwestern University.
