Jamey Roberts leads the talent practice on the Impact Team. In this role, Jamey partners with the community of talent leaders to tackle common challenges across the human capital continuum, identify bright spots, and invest in promising people practices that can be transferable across organizations.
Prior to joining CSGF, Jamey served as the Chief Human Assets Officer at IDEA Public Schools for five years, leading their strategy to recruit, develop, and retain great teachers, leaders, and other staff members. During his tenure, the organization grew from 36 to 96 schools across six regions, serving nearly 53,000 students in Texas and Louisiana. Before that, he built out the talent strategy and programs for the National Association of Charter School Authorizers to grow and develop leaders in authorizing offices across the nation. He began his career in education with TNTP, leading engagements and programs in partnership with urban school districts to solve their most critical human capital challenges, including teacher recruitment and development programs and effective school staffing initiatives. Jamey holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BS in theatre from Northwestern University.
