As a member of the Impact Team, Jason helps share meaningful solutions, spotlight insights, and build a strong community of leaders across school networks supported by CSGF. He focuses specifically on best practices within operations and finance. Prior to joining CSGF, Jason was associate chief operating officer for Uncommon Schools in New York City, where he helped manage operations for the region’s middle and high schools. Jason began his career in education as a middle school English and history teacher in the Bronx through Teach For America. He then taught abroad in China and returned to New York to co-found and lead an Uncommon middle school in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn. Jason holds a master of public administration from Columbia University, a masters in adolescent education from Pace University, and a BA in journalism from the University of Kansas. He is an alum of Education Pioneers and the Broad Residency Program.
