Katie supports CSGF’s Impact Team in creating transformational learning experiences for portfolio members and nurturing thriving communities of practice that sustain leaders and make organizations better. Before joining the team at CSGF, Katie was vice president of schools for IDEA Public Schools as they expanded to open eight schools in Louisiana and managing director of school support at New Schools for New Orleans where she led city adoption and implementation of Common Core aligned instructional materials. Katie spent her early career as a middle school teacher, curriculum leader, and principal in charter schools in Washington DC and Florida. Katie earned a Masters in Teaching and Bachelors in History from the University of Virginia.
