Rachel leads CSGF’s work on developing and supporting the advocacy efforts of the organization’s portfolio networks. Prior to joining CSGF, Rachel served as executive director of PennCAN, a chapter of 50CAN that advocates for high-quality schools in Pennsylvania. She also served as assistant general counsel for Success Academy Charter Schools in New York City. In 2020, Rachel helped found Catalyst Academy Charter School in Pittsburgh and continues to serve as the school’s founding board president. Prior to her career in education, she was an attorney in the private sector with a focus on corporate litigation. Rachel is a graduate of Princeton University and earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law. Rachel resides in Philadelphia with her husband and three children.
