Steven utilizes his background in finance and education to support CSGF portfolio members, primarily throughout the diligence process. Having spent the majority of his career in the education field – with roles in teaching, school leadership, operations, and finance –  Steven was most recently a senior financial analyst for BASIS.ed. In this position, he supported growth strategy and efforts through financial modeling and diligence work. His passion for education stems from his time as a math teacher where he saw first-hand how educational opportunities can transform students’ lives. Steven has a BA in mathematics from San Diego State University and a MS in business analytics from Grand Canyon University.
