Lena Vye is an Education Pioneers analyst fellow for the Analytics team at CSGF. She conducts data analysis and creates visualizations to provide critical insights to CSGF internal teams and portfolio members. Before joining CSGF, Lena worked as a data fellow at DataSpark RI, where she developed her skills in data analysis and visualization. She assisted with one of DataSpark’s projects to develop school and district “equity profiles” for the Rhode Island Department of Education and was able to explore the role of data in developing more equitable education systems. Prior to that, Lena served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Inspiring Minds, a non-profit in Providence, RI. There, she worked to connect volunteers with students in elementary schools for tutoring and mentoring. Lena completed her Master’s in urban education policy at Brown University and her Bachelor’s in political science at the University of Rhode Island.
